What power source does the MacSync-LSW6 use?

MacSync-LSW6 comes with a solar-powered system and internal backup battery, enabling long-term, maintenance-free operation even in remote or off-grid deployments.


Is the MacSync-LSW6 suitable for outdoor environments?

Yes. The sensor features an IP66-rated enclosure, ensuring robust performance in harsh weather conditions including rain, dust, and temperature fluctuations.


What parameters does the MacSync-LSW6 monitor?

The MacSync-LSW6 supports multi-parameter monitoring, including temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, atmospheric pressure, and rainfall.


How is the sensor data transmitted?

All sensor data is sent over LoRaWAN®, supporting Class A & C communication, with options for periodic, threshold-based, or event-driven uplinks.


Can the sensor be configured remotely?

Yes. The MacSync-LSW6 supports OTA configuration via LoRaWAN® downlinks and local Bluetooth (BLE) configuration using the Macnman Maya App.


What is the expected wireless range?

The sensor can communicate up to 8 km line-of-sight under ideal conditions, depending on environmental factors and gateway placement.


Is real-time data visible via BLE?

Yes. You can view live data from the MacSync-LSW6 using the Maya App by connecting via BLE and navigating to Home > Device Data.


Is MacSync-LSW6 compatible with third-party LoRaWAN® servers?

Absolutely. It is fully compatible with The Things Network (TTN), ChirpStack, Loriot, Helium, and all major LoRaWAN® gateways and network servers.


Does the sensor support local data buffering?

Yes. In case of temporary network issues, optional onboard data buffering ensures no critical measurements are lost.
