• Edge controller data acquisition and sensor synchronization testing
Performance Testing
• Power consumption analysis in active and idle states
• System endurance testing under continuous outdoor operation
• Environmental qualification:
- Temperature: –40°C to +85°C
- Dust, vibration, and shock resilience for trackside installation
Communication Testing
• Wi‑Fi uplink/downlink reliability testing across outdoor environments
• Throughput and latency validation for real‑time data upload
• Packet delivery, buffering, and network stability checks
Certification Pre‑Compliance
• CE pre‑compliance (EMC, EMI, electrical safety)
• RF emission and immunity checks for Wi‑Fi operation
• Grounding, shielding, and surge protection verification
Field Testing
• Duration: 45‑day field deployment (Client Scope)
• Real‑world wagon counting and load status accuracy validation
• Train speed, direction, and ETA verification
• Network stability and data consistency monitoring
• Weekly reports: performance metrics, issues, and operational feedback
Bill of Materials (BoM) Optimization
- Prototype‑stage BoM preparation for trackside sensing hardware
- Cost, availability, and environmental suitability evaluation
- Post‑field test BoM optimization for scalability and cost reduction
Certification and Compliance
CE Certification
- EMC, EMI, and electrical safety compliance (CE pre‑certification)
WPC Certification
- Wi‑Fi RF compliance as per applicable regional regulations
IP67 Rating (Not in Scope)
- Dust and water ingress protection (IP67) — Not included in current scope
